Word as a teacher, the Outline Mode

The outline mode is a functionality that allows you to organize your thinking using the word processor, the more efficiently to compose your essay afterwards.

Click here in the bottom left-hand corner of your Word application to go into outline mode, which will allow you to work as below.

The left arrow gives the text headline status, normally level 1 (eg., Advert for Daimler).
The right arrow gives your text a lower title status, eg., level 2 (factual description), 3 (visual info) or more.
The up and down ones allow you to move your text to a more appropriate part. Finally, the + and - signs, applied to one title, hide or show whatever lower-level items it contains.
