VOLL is just another acronym standing for Vocationally-Oriented Language Learning. Learning the language is integrated with exploring issues related to the area of knowledge targeted.

Students in this section are invited either to find and document websites where they and their fellow-students are likely to discover materials relevant to their major training, or to transpose articles in their mother language which could be of use for others in their field, into English.
For example, town-planning students have covered a number of websites related to their trade, giving an idea of what those sites are all about. Another group interested in the environment has worked on the water issue from a Nouvel Observateur article, formulating the problem in their own English.

Obviously this is a place for writing. Working in pairs, students will compose their documents for public use as is already done in town planning.
